Natalie

Natalie

Natalie received a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Montreal, Canada, and studied at the College of Osteopathy in Montreal. She is a Certified Polestar Pilates instructor trained under the direction of Shelly Power and Brent Anderson, and also a Pilates Method Alliance member. Natalie is also a certified trainer in the GYROTONIC® Method as well as a certified Franklin Method® Pelvis Fascia trainer.

Natalie incurred a back injury at a crucial time in her life. After several years of Pilates training for herself, as a form of rehabilitation, she decided to help others heal themselves with this powerful and mindful exercise. Adding 15 years of ballet studies and performance, her passion for movement and proper alignment brought her to study Pilates for dancers.

Since 2009, she has applied this breadth of knowledge to her Pilates and GYROTONIC® Method clientele. But, Natalie envisioned creating her own studio space with harmonious energy — an environment where everyone could work together to provide the highest quality services to clients of all fitness levels. In 2014, Body Aligned Pilates & Wellness was born!

Natalie also brought another dream to life in 2016 — her baby daughter! Up until two days before delivery, Natalie was still in the studio teaching Pilates. That personal experience makes her uniquely qualified to instruct (and encourage) pre- and postnatal clients.

Leanne

Leanne has been teaching for over 15 years as a dance artist, Pilates instructor, and somatic movement coach. She believes movement should be explored in safe, efficient ways that honor an individual’s unique body and personality.

Leanne received her initial comprehensive Pilates training in 2006 with Rick Williamson of the Fitness Institute and Pilates Studio of Western New York. In 2012, she relocated and found a new home at Evolution Pilates of Rochester under the direction of Michelle Pritchard. During her time as an instructor at these studios, Leanne enjoyed working with clients of diverse backgrounds, ages, and abilities.

In addition to her Pilates training, Leanne holds a master’s degree in dance from SUNY Brockport, a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification, and is a Franklin Method Pelvic Fascia Trainer. She has studied somatic movement and dance practices with master educator Bill Evans.

Colette

Colette discovered the benefits of Pilates after being in a severe car accident which damaged her neck, shoulders and back. Pilates gave her a workout she could do, strengthened her back, restored her mobility and increased her flexibility.

Her love for both the method and teaching led her to discover her desire to help others live healthy lifestyles.

Colette has been teaching Pilates comprehensively since 2007. She received her education through Balanced Body. She's also a certified TRX instructor and yoga instructor.

Colette is continuously grateful for the opportunity to educate her students and see their strength, balance and flexibility grow.

cecile with white hair and blue hair is smiling in front of a brick wall .

Cecile

Born and raised in France, Cecile has always been very involved with sports, dance and outdoor activities. She pursued her nursing degree while doing acrobatics, acting and trapeze as much as her schedule allowed.

She left nursing to pursue work with the French Circus Art Academy and then was hired to be the aerial act of a new Cirque du Soleil touring show. She exchanged her white nurse outfit for shiny costumes as her amazing adventure began on different continents, touring, and then with a permanent show in Las Vegas.

In the course of her work, she was injured many times with numerous shoulder and back surgeries. That’s how she discovered Pilates!

She fell in love with the practice and became a certified instructor through UNLV. Because of her passion for teaching, Cecile saw her consistent students and clients improve their physical conditions. More importantly, they became happier, more confident and sometimes completely pain free. Knowing she was helping people get healthier and happier provided her with pure joy!

Cecile has also studied Thai yoga massage and energy healing techniques such as Reiki and the Moldova Technique.

In 2009, he turned professional. Since then, he has taught both adults and children. Among his students are multiple medalists and finalists of the U.S. National Championships and the Blackpool Dance Festival in the Pro-Am Division.

As conditioning for ballroom dancing, he obtained fundamental training in ballet and jazz technique. From 2016 to 2021, Artur studied Rudolf Laban’s Effort-Shape and Labanotation and their application to ballroom dancing. One of the outcomes of this project was the translation of the book “Latin: Thinking, Sensing and Doing in Latin American Dancing” by Ruud Vermey, published in Polish in 2021.

As a kid and later as a teenager, Artur participated in several different sports on an amateur level, including tennis, karate, long jump, high jump, skiing, windsurfing, sailing, soccer, volleyball and basketball.

Sara

Born in Stuart, Florida, Sara made her way to Florida State University, where she earned her Master of Social Work and Public Administration.

After living in Boulder, Colorado, and San Francisco, Sara moved to Tampa, where she discovered Pilates. She immediately loved the discipline and benefits of the practice.

After years of taking lessons and learning the Pilates method, Sara made the decision to go through the training process to become an instructor. She completed her comprehensive instructor training here at Body Aligned with Natalie Mandeville and is now a Certified Pilates Teacher.

Sara’s appreciation for the mind-body connection of Pilates has allowed her to understand that the body cannot go where the mind has not been.

She looks forward to working with clients privately or in groups and is committed to helping clients reach their fitness goals by discovering the benefits of Pilates.

Audra

Audra was born and raised in New York. After graduating from Boston University with a degree in occupational therapy, she made her way to Tampa, Florida.

As an OT with a certification in upper extremity rehabilitation, Audra values understanding body mechanics, posture and the use of rehabilitative principles to heal the body.

Audra has always been an endurance athlete, finding joy in running and cycling. She was invited to take a class at a local Pilates studio. Discovering she had been missing a true core connection in her daily life, she was immediately hooked!

The principles of Pilates made total sense, so she became a student for the next three years. After retiring from clinical practice, Audra knew she would miss helping people rehabilitate through thoughtful movement.

Now, Audra is excited to inspire others in their Pilates journey, whether for fitness, rehabilitation or a deeper understanding of their mind-body connection.

Eva

As a teenager, Eva moved to Boston, Massachusetts, from Burrel in Albania, her birth country. Three years later, she came across Winsor Pilates through home videos.

Back in her home country, Eva loved mountain hiking, rock climbing and biking. So, to help cope with life in a big city during this transitional stage, she found comfort in Pilates. Eva was amazed at how small, controlled movement improved her posture and ability to walk gracefully.

While later living in Dallas for ten years, she was introduced to in-studio Pilates. Then, in 2018, she moved to Tampa. After trying various Pilates studios, Body Aligned made the strongest impression and replenished her long-forgotten feeling of body and mind connection.

With a degree in business administration, majoring in finance, Pilates became Eva’s escape. She made the conscious decision to join Body Aligned’s teacher training program (instructed by Natalie Mandeville) to strengthen her communication between body and mind. This led to an exciting new journey of serving clients through movement.
